About Precious Sitters Precious Sitters LLC is a subsidiary of Precious Nannies LLC, a nanny placement agency that has been connecting families with qualified childcare professionals throughout the Chicagoland area since 2019. While Precious Nannies specializes in long-term nanny placements, Precious Sitters was created to connect families with trusted babysitters and on-demand childcare providers. 1. Platform Nature Precious Sitters is a platform that connects parents with independent childcare providers (sitters). Precious Sitters acts solely as an intermediary and is not a childcare provider. We are not directly liable for the services performed by sitters listed on our platform. 2. User Responsibilities Parents are responsible for verifying the suitability of any sitter they choose to engage. Sitters are responsible for providing accurate information about their experience, qualifications, and availability. 3. Background Checks While we facilitate background check verification, the cost of background checks is borne by the individual requesting or completing the check, not by the platform. Background check status is displayed on sitter profiles for transparency. 4. Bookings & Payments Booking requests submitted through the platform are subject to confirmation. Payment terms and arrangements are facilitated through the platform where applicable. 5. Limitation of Liability Precious Sitters shall not be held liable for any damages, injuries, or losses arising from the use of childcare services arranged through the platform. Parents assume all risk when engaging a sitter. 6. Cancellation Policy Users may cancel bookings in accordance with the platform's cancellation guidelines. Repeated cancellations may result in account restrictions. 7. Modifications We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time.
